The company is expanding its AI capabilities across a vast application landscape. Onboarding these new capabilities requires a robust enterprise architecture (EA) practice and superior EA tools. SAP LeanIX enables their EAs to view the entire IT landscape, including all connections and dependencies between applications and components, so that they can implement AI smoothly and effectively.

Application rationalization

In addition to using SAP LeanIX to help expand AI capabilities across the organization, CapitaLand has also used the solution for application rationalization.

"In the past, all of this data was kept in Excel spreadsheets, so it was difficult to aggregate and analyze. Much of it was outdated and unreliable," said Leo.

"With SAP LeanIX, we were able to start with the application rationalization of 1000 of our lodging properties with over 600 applications.
We did this in a single platform with a single repository, and democratized for all stakeholders."
